Day 01: Delhi
On your late night arrival, the company officials will come and receive you from the international airport of Delhi. From there you will be directly taken to the hotel. You will have an overnight stay in the hotel.
Delhi was once the capital of nearly 7 empires. After independence it became the capital of India. Its splendid history still echoes in every corner of Delhi. It holds in it the synergy of ancient, medieval and contemporary cultures.
Day 02 Delhi:
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel. After breakfast there will be a full day tour of Old and New Delhi.
Old Delhi - The all day sight seeing trip includes renowned and historic places like Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Red Fort. You will get a pleasurable cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandini Chowk
New Delhi - The all day sight seeing trip includes famous and historic places like the Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. There will be a ride from the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, India Gate, Parliament House and the President's Residence and would end at the Diplomatic Enclave. There will be overnight stay in hotel.
Day 03 Delhi - Jaipur:
Jaipur is a 6-hour drive from New Delhi covering approximately 260 km's by road. After having breakfast at Delhi hotel you leave for Jaipur. There you check into a hotel.
Jaipur - Sawai Jai Singh II built the Jaipur city in a time span starting from 1727 to 1731. He was the princely ruler of Jaipur at that time. Jaipur's culture, heritage and history are still preserved. Popularly Jaipur is called as the pink city because it was painted in pink in the honor of The Prince of Wales. It is brimming with old forts, majestic and royal palaces, ancient and modern temples and gardens.
The whole day is left for you to shop around or rest. The overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 04 Jaipur:
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel. There will be a trip to Amber Fort on the outskirts of Jaipur. You will be provided with an elephant to ride to the fort. King Man Singh started building this fort in 1592 and later on his son Jai Singh completed the construction. From there you carry on the sightseeing by going to Jaipur City, covering City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal.
You are free to enjoy the evening. Overnight stay will be at the hotel
Day 05 Jaipur - Agra:
Breakfast will be at the hotel. Agra is a 6-hour drive from Jaipur covering approximately 221 km's by road. There will be a visit to the Fatehpur Sikri in between the journey.
Fatehpur Sikri - it was an important city at the time of Akbar's reign in the 16th century. The fort is visually striking because of the red sandstone. Due to scarcity of water, it was abandoned shortly after Akbar's death.
After that you visit the Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world.
When you reach Agra you check in at the hotel.
Agra: built in 1565 by emperor Akbar, Agra fort was then its capital. Agra city was entirely transformed by emperor Akbar and Shah Jahan in terms of architecture. Primarily it is known for the very renowned and admired architectural wonder Taj Mahal. The contemporary Agra is overshadowed by the stunning Mughal heritage.
Overnight stay will be at Agra hotel.
Day 06 Agra:
Breakfast will be given at the Agra hotel. After that there will be sightseeing tours in Agra.
The main attraction of Agra is The Taj Mahal, and then there is Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulla's Tomb, which are worth a visit too.
There will be overnight stay in Agra.
Destinations: Agra-Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho
Breakfast will be given at the Agra hotel. From there you will leave for Jhansi by train. When you reach Jhansi you will leave for Orchha, which is 12 km away.
Orchha - situated on the banks of river Butwa, it was founded by the Bundelas. It is dotted with innumerable palaces and temples of 16th century but has borne the bruises of time very bravely.
You will visit the Fort Complex at Orchha. You will have your lunch at Orchha. From there you carry on your drive to Khajuraho.
Khajuraho - it is a small village in the state of Madhya Pradesh, filled with Khajur or date trees. There were 85 magnificent temples here built by the Chandela Dynasty. Sadly only twenty-two are undamaged representing the masterpiece of Indian architectural and sculptural art.
When you reach Khajuraho you will be transferred to the hotel, where you can relax. Evening will be free for you to relax. Overnight stay will be at Khajuraho.
Destinations: Khajuraho -Varanasi:
Breakfast will be given at the Khajurao hotel. From there you leave for a tour of the well-known temples of Khajuraho. From Khajurao airport you will board a flight till Varanasi. You will be received and transferred to the hotel in Varanasi.
Varanasi - Varanasi is the oldest living city in the world. The city is named after the two rivers Varuna and Asi, which converge through the city. Varanasi is well known for its carpets and Sarees. Previously it was called Kashi, meaning the 'city that illuminates'
You will visit Sarnath, which is 5 miles from Varanasi. It will be an excursion. This is the site where Buddha said his first words of wisdom. In 590 BC. There are remains of the actual Buddhist Monastery. You will tour the museum to see the fortune of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site.
There will be overnight stay at Varanasi.
Day 09 Varanasi:
Early in the morning you will drive to Daswamedha Ghat. There you will be given a boat to ride on river Ganga. You can walk through the streets, next to the banks of Ganga. You will have your Breakfast at the hotel. From there you move on for a half day tour of Varanasi which will include the Kashi Vishwanatha Temple, Gyanvapi Mosque, Banaras Hindu University and other important monuments. You will spend the night at Varanasi.
Day 10: Delhi - Home
After having your breakfast at hotel, the whole day is free for leisure. You can explore the metropolis and do shopping. You will check out in the evening from the hotel and proceed for 'The Dances of India Show'. After dinner you will be transferred to Airport to board a flight for your way back.
